The Natatorium and The Six Dolphins of John J. Garlic

Interactive website for a forthcoming documentary film and podcast. Four years of original investigative journalism and fieldwork chasing the rumor of a dolphin buried in a Milwaukee backyard and the strange legacy of The Public Natatorium — a restaurant briefly built around a pool of live dolphins in the early 1980s. The site functions as a living archive and immersive story entry point for audiences ahead of the 2027 release.

Frog Night

An interactive educational experience and public-science tool that predicts peak frog breeding choruses across Wisconsin. The platform combines a weather API, location data, and more than 40 years of citizen science records collected by the Wisconsin Frog and Toad Survey. Creator, designer, and engineer behind the project. Launched in April 2026; currently expanding into neighboring states and developing a mobile app that will allow users to monitor frog populations through vocalization recordings.
